Thursday I saw
Il Trovatore for the opera class I'm taking and OMGOMGOMG DMITRI HVOROSTOVSKY IS SO HOT
If I was Leonora, damn, I totes would have chosen the Count di Luna over Manrico.
Friday was the noon rally, finishing my English paper at the last possible second (I believe it was still warm from the printer when I handed it in), another night rally, going home and not sleeping (even though I knew I would regret it) because I was excited about the game the next day.
Saturday was the Cal-U$C game.
Weeeeell...not much to say about that...
except I felt a little bit better about losing to them in football, because we ALWAYS beat them in band...
It's probably not healthy to hate something as much as I hate the Trojan Marching Band. I tried to make a list of everything I hate about them, but it just got too long.
( DISCO IS NOT DEAD )Sunday the band went to the 49ers game to perform at their halftime.
I almost messed up the show. I blame my lack of sleep.
Haha, as our buses (nice ones! sent by the Niners...which meant we couldn't do drinking songs or any of that stuff, sadly) were coming into the parking lot, this one guy started pointing at his Niners jersey (in that way that sports fans do at fans of the opposing team) and I'm still trying to figure out why.
I mean, the flipping off was expected, but that was not.
I did hear the
best worst ...something comeback ever at that game though: "WELL, I'M STILL RICH!"
